Phoenix Project
Phoenix (Φοῖνιξ) ancient city is located within the boundaries of the Taşlıca village in the Marmaris district of the Muğla province today, on the southwest of the Bozburun peninsula. In ancient times, the city, which was connected to the 'Karia Khersonesos', a sub-region of Karia, is located at Hisar Tepe in the Sindili Plain, about 4 km south of the Taşlıca village center, which is the Acropolis/Upper City of the city. The city developed around this center. It's definitely one of the places you should see.
